She grew up singing country with her sisters in their band, The McClymonts, and now their latest album Two Worlds Collide (which the girls wrote themselves) will be dropping on Friday. We had a chat with the youngest sister, Mollie, to talk about heartbreak, bullies and which coach she'd want to work with from The Voice!
Congrats on the new album. What's it like?
"Well we wrote all of our own tracks on it so this album's a lot more personal. We wrote songs that were from our own experiences and stuff that was going on in our own lives in the last two and a half years, so it’s just more in depth and it's definitely grown from the last two albums, that's for sure."
There are songs about love and heartbreak, how do you deal with that?
"I think everyone's been through heartbreak. A lot of people think 'Oh no, how am I going to move on?', but you just do. You just pick yourself up and you move on and you realise that the sun does shine at the end of the day and you do find someone else and it all gets better."
Being in a band with your older sisters, do you guys fight lots?
"Of course — all sisters fight, all families fight. We have our moments where we just want to tear each other's hair out, but now we fight more about what we're having for lunch! It doesn't last long, and when someone's in a bad mood you just leave it — there's no point in fighting about it."
Did you ever get bullied growing up?
"I think we did get picked on for singing country music. Everyone used to think it was so daggy and uncool — doing something different and not the norm, people did make fun. But we were lucky we were strong personalities where we were like 'Meh, oh well. We love it'. They couldn't pick on us because we admitted that we liked it, so there was nothing to really have a go at us about."
You've been making music for a while, anyone you'd love to collaborate with?
"I'd actually love to work with Keith Urban."
Oooh do you love The Voice like us?
"Yes! I'm a massive fan. I love it! I’m Team Keith!"

"I really love Brittany — I think she's incredible!”
