If you're a serious Potterhead who's always dreamed of going to Hogwarts, you're in luck. While we can't promise an owl arriving at your house with an acceptance letter, we can tell you that Harry Potter: The Exhibition is on its way to Australia!
The next best thing to going to Hogwarts itself, hundreds of props and artefacts from the eight films will be on show at the exhibition.
You'll be able to see the Gryffindor boy's dormitory up close (sadly no Gryffindor boys included), tour Hagrid's hut and sit in his oversized chair, and even see some of Harry's personal items including the Marauder's Map, his glasses and his wand.
There'll also be an awesome gift shop where you can buy amazing Potter memorabilia to take home for yourself!
The exhibition is only making one stop in Australia, setting up at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. It's planned to run from November 19 until March 18, 2012, and tickets will go on sale next Tuesday, July 19.
This is the first stop for the exhibition outside of North America, so make sure you grab your Potter-loving friends and get your tickets early so you don't miss out!
Advance tickets for the highly anticipated exhibition will be available to Visa credit, debit and prepaid cardholders from 9.00am (local time), Monday 11 July 2011 until 5.00pm (local time), Wednesday 13 July 2011 or until presale tickets sell out only at www.visaentertainment.com.au.
