How you will be spending this Xmas?
I'll spend Christmas Eve with my family having a yummy baked dinner and then Christmas Day with my boyfriend's family.
What is on your wish list for Santa?
A new wallet and a coloured satchel bag.

I never make them!

Some reading and home time with a few road trips to the beach.

Sunscreen

A Badminton set, some good books and sunnies.
What's something random about the holidays that you enjoy?
I love choosing a different dessert each year to make and have on Christmas Day.

How you will be spending this Xmas?
I'll be in Havana, Cuba, so doing whatever it is the locals do! Hopefully this includes feasting on a traditional Cuban Christmas dinner (whatever that is?!).
What is on your wish list to santa?
To swim with whale sharks (which I'll be doing, tick).
What's your NYE resolution?
Try not lose my keys, ATM card, wallet etc etc.
What you will be doing this summer break to relax?
Traveling around Central America and Mexico with my BFF. Pretty relaxing if you ask me!
What are your top five items for summer?
1950s style bikini, Moleskin journal, little black party dress, fudge coconut sea salt hair spray and tan leather sandals.
What's something random that you enjoy about the holidays?
I make pancakes for my family every Christmas morning. Feeding people is my way of saying "I love you".

Chowing down on a big seafood feast with family... and an afternoon swim in the pool if I'm not in too much of a food coma!

The latest Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl box sets please!
Your NYE resolution?
To make 2013 just as amazing as 2012! And to become an expert ventriloquist.
What will you be doing this summer break to relax?
I'll be heading to the city that never sleeps — New York! So, maybe not so much relaxing, but a LOT of shopping. I plan on giving Carrie Bradshaw a run for her Manolos.
Your top five items for summer?
A hefty supply of SPF50. Yes, I sound like a nanna, but hey, as long as I don't look like one, I'm fine with that (wrinkly-leather-handbag is NOT a good look)!
Havaianas. I live in these during the summer hols. Slip 'em on and go!
Aviator sunnies. They're classic and make every outfit look 100 times cooler.
Tinted moisturiser. 'Cos it's OK for my ice-block to melt, but my make-up? Not so much...
My fave mags. A pile of glossies always keeps me happy when I'm chilling by the pool or en route to an exotic destination. Hello, DOLLY quiz book!
What's something random that you enjoy about the holidays?
I kinda like the sound of cicadas, 'cos I know it means summer is well and truly here.

I'm hoping to get some really nice bedsheets for my new house and, of course, a giant Lindt ball full of chocolates!

To get more sleep!

Travelling to Fiji to relax by the water and read a great book.

New international magazines, a bright bikini, waterproof camera, denim cut-offs and reflective sunnies.

Not setting an alarm!
My favourite moments from 2012
I started the year as the fashion assistant at DOLLY which meant lots of long hours assisting on shoots and preparing the craziest props and location sets. One I will never forget was this formal shoot as it took us WEEKS to source all the props.
Sadly, we also said goodbye to one of the most amazing stylists, Leda Ross (see her above!), who was DOLLY's junior fashion editor before me. Leda's last ever shoot for the mag was one I will never forget for many reasons. But one of those reasons would have to be having Tiff's cat Armani model for us! Look how cute he is!
I also did my first ever mini-main fashion which was a tea party in the park.
Promotion time. My hard work paid off when Tiff offered me the Junior Fashion Editor role. This by far is the best email I have received this year! This also meant I got to meet and style some pretty cool celebrities this year (hello, Carly and Reece!).
The team at Target teamed up with us to create the DOLLY for Free Fusion @ Target range. We got to debut it on our 2012 Model Search finalists which brings me to another highlight — hanging out with the six girls!
My little sister, cousin and I were all featured in the same issue — I must say my mum and aunty were pretty excited!
After waiting what left like years we finally announced our DOLLY Model Search Winner — Kirsty!
I was also lucky enough to shoot her for one of my fashion pages.
Fashion Ed Lotta went international for her shoots this year — hello London, Paris and Greece!
Styling can get a little frustrating at times so this year we found our new favourite stress reliever — hola hooping!
Too busy to do her hair, fashion ed Lotta had our lovely intern Lauren lend a hand — nothing like multi-tasking!
And last but not least we welcomed a new fashion assistant Emily and new beauty writer Gyan to the team.
Well girls have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. 'Til next year be safe... and stay stylish! See you in 2013.
