It's no secret that Jennifer Lawrence is the most fashionable tribute of all, and now, the actress has landed a hot new gig that is sure to launch her into the fashion stratosphere (no bow and arrow required!).
The 22-year-old Hunger Games star has just been announced as the new face of Miss Dior. Ooh la la!
The stylish collaboration will see Jennifer front Miss Dior's Spring/Summer 2013 handbag campaign, set to debut worldwide in March 2013.
"It's such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion." Jennifer gushed. "I'm so excited to be working with the fashion house and wear the new creations by [designer] Raf Simons.
"His most recent haute couture and ready-to-wear collections glamorously capture the modern era at Dior."
Jennifer follows in the footsteps of past Dior beauties including Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman, with designer Raf Simons believing she is the perfect starlet to represent the brand. And we agree!
"Like the whole world, I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence as a young action hero," said Simons. "I was, of course, struck by her unbelievable onscreen presence in these "larger than life" movies, but I was equally impressed by her powerful portrayal of more emotional and complex characters.
"Her youth and her classic beauty, but also the feminine strength and complexity that she can portray at such a young age are, for me, very unique and very appealing."
