Five minutes with Amanda Ware

We caught up with the new face of ChapStick, Australia's Next Top Model 2010 winner Amanda Ware, to get the inside scoop on all her beauty secrets.

Since winning Australia's Next Top Model, what have you been up to?
I've been mostly been working overseas modelling. I actually just got back from New York. For my runway debut at New York Fashion Week Fall 2011, I walked for a total of six shows that included Phillip Lim, L'Wren Scott and Chado Ralph Rucci.

You've just been announced as the new face of ChapStick. What made you want to get involved?
I've always been a fan of ChapStick. Even at the age of seven I was forever stealing my mum's strawberry flavour, so it's a brand I feel comfortable representing.

What would you never leave the house without?
I'm on the go a lot with work, so ChapStick is the perfect handbag essential to help keep my lips moisturised and healthy looking. I also love to have face moisturiser with me at all times, my iPhone and my wallet and keys, of course.

What's your biggest beauty blunder?
Choosing the wrong colour foundation, this resulted in an orange tinge!

Which beauty treatment do you swear by?
Lots of sleep and water.

How do you look after your hair?
It gets looked after a lot at shoots, however I do make sure that I get lots of trims and treatments when needed.

What do you love the most about your job?
Meeting new people every day!

You're doing your dream job. Is it everything you expected it to be?
It's a lot harder than I expected it to be, but I'm enjoying every moment and couldn't ask for much more.

What's your favourite naughty treat?
Chocolate!
