Hair masterclass: Fishtail braid

Seen on celebs like Dianna Agron and Selena Gomez, the fishtail braid is this season's prettiest 'do! Take note of our easy, step-by-step guide to give your hair a cool new twist.

• Part your hair down the middle.
• Beginning on the right side of your part (toward the back of your crown) twist a small section of hair along the back of your head.
• Next, separate another small section of hair from just below the first section and twist, combining it with the first piece.
• Continue to add small sections of hair to the first, twisting together as you go.
• Once the hair meets the nape of your neck, secure with a clip or a bobby pin.
• Repeat the same twisting process on the left side, and when both sections reach the nape of your neck, unclip the right side and hold both separately.
• Pull a small section of hair from the right section and add it to the left. Repeat for the left section, adding small bits to the right.
• Continue adding small sections of hair until the braid reaches the ends.
• Secure with elastic.
