Dear DOLLY, I was wondering whether you know any products that help stop frizzy hair. My hair is very frizzy and there's a lot of it but I just can’t seem to tone down the frizz. Please help me.
A: Frizzy hair can be caused by regular bleaching, excessive use of styling products, exposure to the sun and a poor diet and more.
But don't stress out – there are plenty of helpful de-frizzers on the market and not only in the form of serums but also in shampoos, conditioners and treatments.
Companies like PPS Hairwear and John Frieda have a great ranges of frizz-focused products and if you also refrain from over-washing your hair or straightening it too much, you should find quite a difference.
And if you insist on using the hairdryer and straightener (erm, where would we be without them?) then use one that has the anti-frizz factor like the Babyliss PRP Ceramic Dryer & Straightener Duo Pack, $99.95. Try: Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo & Conditioner, from $5.95; Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Treatment Mask, $10.85; L’Oreal Paris Elvive Smooth-Intense Anti-Frizz Serum; $10.95.
