Q: I have extreme dry skin on my legs and I've tried using different brand of creams but nothing seems to work. Can you recommend something to stop my legs from looking scaly and dried?
It's important that you suss out what skin type you have. It sounds like you have sensitive to dry, so with this in mind, you need to hit the shops looking for products targeting this. There are loads of quality skincare ranges out now that you can snare in your local supermarket and without having to spend a fortune. Also, avoid having hot showers, try to drink plenty of water and moisturise morning and night.
Q: My hair is outta control. It's super frizzy and impossible to style. What can I do?
Well, you can stress less, 'cos having fizzy hair isn't the end of the world! Here are some handy tips to help you tame it:
1. Swap your shampoo for one that is designed to tame your mane. Look out for bottles labelled with terms like, anti-frizz, or silky smooth and always rinse your hair in cold water after conditioning.
2. Get serious about serums and products. There are plenty of products, creams and waxes etc ... that can be used daily to help control the frizz, and always apply a heat protective product before styling your hair with a straightener, or hair dryer.
3. Use a conditioning treatment once a week. Apply it before you hit the pillow at night and let it work its magic while you snooze. Simply rinse in the morning and you're done.
Q. Help! I have really, really short eye lashes! Is there any way I can make them grow faster?
Unfortunately there's no wonder product available, yet, that's able to make your eyelashes grow faster, but wouldn't it be great if there was! While falsies are a great option for night time, they can be difficult to dabble in and you don't want to look too OTT. So, here are some insider tips that'll have you loving your lashes, in no time!
1. Treat 'em with heat!
Grab a tablespoon from the kitchen and run it under warm water until the spoon feels warm to touch. Then, using the rounded side of the spoon, press your lashes upwards, for 30 seconds. Run the spoon under warm water again and repeat on the other side. Finish the look with a coat of mascara and then sit back and admire your new look lashes!
2. Prime Time
Try coating your lashes with a layer of eyelash primer, before you apply your actual mascara. It not only helps thicken up your lashes, but it gives your mascara something to stick to, making it last longer!
3. Buy An Eyelash Curler.
Not only are they super cheap, but they're so tiny, you can keep one in your handbag all the time and use it throughout the day.
4. Get the right stuff!
Choosing a mascara is a tough task, and it's all about trial and error, so take your time and shop around.
