A-list eyes cheat sheet

Want to know the secret to A-list looking make-up? It's all in the eyes (or eye make-up) says Natalie Bullock, resident brow expert on Australia's Next Top Model. Here she shares her top five simple tricks for peepers that really pop!

1. - ‘Shade and highlight’ is the mantra for creating eyes that really pop.

2. - Always reach for neutral tones if you're not sure how to apply your shadow. – Tthey're always easier to blend than blacks or blues.

3. - Always apply foundation over the eye area and seal with a translucent powder or cream-coloured shadow to stop it from clumping in the lines of the lid. This creates a smoother surface for your eye shadow and makes it easier to blend.

4. - Always fill your brow in, even if you have enough colour naturally, as that will build a stronger definition for your eyes. Just use a newly sharpened brow pencil on its side and apply with a feathering motion to avoid creating a hard and artificial eyebrow line. Brush brows before and after for a totally natural look.

5. - For a fresh summer look, use white eyeliner inside the bottom rim of your eye. Your eyes will instantly look bigger than they really are. But make sure you use mascara as well, or you'll appear washed out.
