Minerals: hair, there and everywhere.

Friday, October 17, 2008

Minerals: hair, there and everywhere Mineral make-up is having a moment. Nearly every cosmetic you pick up off the shelf these days is boasting about being filled to the brim with mineral goodness; foundations, powders, blushes, eye-shadows and primers, they're all doing it. And why wouldn't they? To give you a quick 101, because they are based on minerals instead of chemicals, mineral cosmetics don't clog pores (which is what causes skin to break out). Plus, the minerals in mineral make-up are actually good for your skin, which means the make-up nourishes and protects your skin while it's on your face. Awesome, right?

So, if minerals are so good for our skin, why don't we use them everywhere? Why don't we use them in our hair? That's a good question, and luckily someone asked it and answered it. That 'someone' would be Schwarzkopf Proffesional, with a whole, brand spanking new range of hair products chock full of mineral goodness.

That's right. If you're a mineral make-up fan, you should now be happy to know you can expand your love of minerals to your hair care. We're guessing this is going to be a huge trend, so snaps to Schwarzkopf for getting the ball rolling for mineral hair care in Australia.

Some of the Schwarzkopf Proffessional SEAH HAIRSPA range

The range is called SEAH Hairpsa, which is a range of shampoos, conditioners, styling products and treatments that are all mineral based. What this means, is that the benefits of mineral products we previously only enjoyed on our skin (nourished, natural, healthy looking) can now be applied to our hair as well!

One stand-out line in the range would have to be the Ocean Mineral products for fine hair. Fine-haired-folk always have the problem of trying to nourish their hair, but all the lovely luxurious products they need are always too heavy, making their hair flat and volume-less. But because of the minerals in this range, the hair is nourished and shines, even though the formula is light as air! The range also includes a Mineral Volumiser Volume Spray, which mean lots of volume for you.

This Schwarzkopf range is little bit special and you can't grab it in the supermarket. Call 1800 251 887 for stockists.

i have never heard of this shampoo before but it sounds heaps good, i have thick curly hair and it always goes puffy when i wash it and i just want to know that if i use this will it make it better will it be less puffy and will it just make my hair all round nicer??
it looks real good, i absoloutley luv minerlal make-up, and am definatley gunna buy it. I have fine hair, and have a really hard time finding products that will give my hair life, but hardly any work!!! thx Dolly!!! xx
My hair is so dry and thick but this stuff works on my hair i have said to my friends thast thay should try it and they all came back with the same result they all LOVE IT!! you should try it to.
I believe that this hair product does wonders. it is so nicer than normal shampoo and conditioner. it actually conditions your hair. it turns puff to sleek and silky. It may cost more than you are used to but if you actually save up 2 weeks of pocket money instead of wasting your pocket money every week you can pull off a hair trend.
I know that it's really expensive shampoo and conditioner range. But I have used it and it makes your hair feel so lush.
wow ...sounds interesting i might try it out XD XD
This sounds great. My Dad always tells me I shouldn't use so many products on my hair because of all the chemicals they have. You think your buying a good shampoo but actually it could be destroying your hair! But to hear a shampoo and conditioner that holds minerals is a dream. Now I have a new come back when my dad tells me to stop wasting my money!
hey this sounds pretty cool! i have fine flat hair and i think mine might feel like that but im not sure. hey does anyone know how much this will cost? i hope its not much spesh since its new n ive never herd anythin bout this. if any1 no's let me no??
I have never seen any other brands with minerals in there shampoos and conditioners? Wonder why?? lookes good though.... A xx
This sounds like just what i need! My hair is dry and fine, so when i use moisturising shampoo and conditioners, even though it goes nice and soft it's too heavy and flat. Will have to get some!
