How to do party eyes ...
If you're confused about eye colour, the trick is to keep it simple!
Step 1: Use a little bit of sheer foundation over your eyelid, and a hint of illuminator underneath your browline.
Step 2: Apply the colour to the roots of your lashes with a finger tip. "Don't start at the beginning of your eye," advises Chase Aston, the Makeup Director of The Body Shop, "apply it to the outer corner, which will balance the eye, and blend inwards with your finger, so it's really light in the inner corner", he says. "It'll make your eyes pop, but it's not serious!"
Step 3: Now that you have a bright colour on your eyes, keep everything else really simple. Simply coat your lashes with a clear or brown mascara and slick on a natural pink lipgloss.
Q: How do I match makeup to my eye colour? Amy, SA
A: It's as simple as spinning a colour wheel! Turn it around 'til you find your eye colour, then follow the arrow to the colours directly opposite. These are the ones that will best match your eye colour! Find a colour wheel at your local arts and crafts store.
- Tip: If you want to dress up the colour a bit more for night-time, make it darker at the roots of your lashes. "Use a slanted eyeshadow brush and wet the tip, then brush the shadow onto the outer corner of your eye on the lash line"
