Winter time. It’s cold, it gets dark early, everyone’s trying to avoid coming down with the Flu and breezy summer days soaking up the sun are nothing but a daydream. It’s easy to get emo about winter. That is, until you realise there are heaps of awesome things about winter! But do you know how to make the most of the cooler months?


1.	You know winter’s here when you head out for some retail therapy to find your favourite stores are packed full of coats, cardies, boots and beanies. How do you spend your dosh?
	a) Stock up on the winter essentials i.e a warm jacket, jeans, long sleeved tops and boots. b) Go wild on the winter accessories that will extend your summer wardrobe into the cooler months, like hats, scarfs, tights to throw under your skirts and ballet flats. c) You head straight for the ‘reduced to clear’ rack, full of summer clothes. You bag the dress you wanted months ago for half price, and the bikini you know you’ll live in next season. You’d rather use your cash to prepare for next summer than spend it on winter clothes.
