My uncle

Thursday, July 31, 2008

by Kirilee, QLD

A little girl,
I use to be,
A great man,
He was to me.

Now I look at him,
I don't know what I see,
The one thing I know,
He's not the man he used to be.

Another day goes past,
He puts another bottle to his mouth,
In his drunken disorderly ways,
He struck her in the mouth.

With pure evil in his eyes,
Gone is the funny uncle I knew,
Here to stay is the drunk,
I doubt he'll ever change back.

Until he accepts he's an alcoholic,
And gets the help he needs,
I love my uncle,
Just not this way.

Faces of love

by His Princess, WA

Love here,
Love there,
Love springs,
Everywhere.

Love thrills,
Love excites,
Love enchants,
And delights.

Love hurts,
Love heals,
Love gathers,
And dispels.

Love kills,
Love revives,
Love keeps us alive.

Love U Neil
