So, what was it like working with Miley Cyrus? What is she really like?
Ah, constantly entertaining. Like always - even if she is trying to or not. She does things like stealing a chicken from the set or sneaking a fart noise making machine underneath the sheets during a scene. Like stuff like that. She is really funny and great to work with. She is the same both in real life and on set – what you see of Miley on the television is exactly what she is like.
What’s your most memorable moment from the Hannah Montana: the movie set?
It would definitely have to be the week that we shot the fundraiser scene, where I got to see Miley, Billy Ray and Taylor Swift perform. It was amazing for me because I got to see all three perform in one day, it was cool, I got three concerts. I suppose you could say it was a bit of a star struck moment for me.
When was your first kiss?
Underneath the table at Sunday School. I was only five years old. I would just like to leave it at that!
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
It has to be a special girl and someone that you are really nervous to kiss at the end of the date, because she actually means something to you. As far as the setting is concerned, it’s all case sensitive! I mean I could talk to one girl who wants to go to a nice restaurant and another girl who wants to go to a paintball tournament.
If you could take someone on that first date – who would it be?
Oohhh (One Tree Hill star) Sophia Bush! She is sooo freakin cute, and I love her raspy voice.
What’s been your worst dating experience?
I took a girl on a date and we started off going to a few places, but they didn’t work out. Eventually we made it to a restaurant which was our fourth choice and the hostess was my ex girlfriend. And yeah…awkward! Looking back on it, it was fine because my ex girlfriend ended up coming over and telling really embarrassing stories about me to my date, and my date thought it was hilarious! Although it didn’t make the date go wrong, it was incredible awkward for me. So yeah, it was a bad night!
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Definitely still Sophia Bush. Why would I want to take anyone else on my dream date?
How do you handle the crazy fans/groupies? Do you have any stalkers or obsessed fans?
I notice when girls recognise me and they try and get up close, so I’ll just continue walking down the street and see how long it takes before they come up and ask. One time I walked a couple of hundred metres and they finally were like, “can we take a picture?”. But yeah, no one has ever run across the street in the middle of traffic to get to me Robert Pattinson style. Just yet anyway…who knows!
Is there a particular fashion trend that girl’s wear that confuses you?
I don’t like those floaty tops that look like only pregnant women should be wearing them. I don’t like high waisted pants either!
Have you ever enjoyed a chick flick? Be honest, you can tell us!
Yeah! It’s a romantic comedy, so pretty much anyone can like it, but it’s called Just Friends. I love it because it’s got Ryan Reynolds who is hilarious and Amy Smart who is just gorgeous. That one isn’t actually a secret, people know that. But in terms of secrets, ‘Love Actually’ is a chick flick that I really enjoy!
What’s on high rotation on you iPod?
Rammstein and Mastodon. It’s metal, hard rock industrial stuff. I also listen to Flogging Molly, Dave Matthews band, 2Pac, Biggy, and rapper T-i…do you want me to keep going?
Are you on Twitter?
Yes true! Sometimes I update it three times a day, and sometimes I only change it once a week, it really just depends on how busy I am. I haven’t updated in five days though because I have been soooo busy! I have about 25,000 followers so far, but my favourite person to follow is my mum!
Erm, why’s that?
Because my mum would probably want me to say that in this interview! I’m close to mum. Every time she calls, I’m like...’Oh, mum’! We are very close!
