Please help me!

Q. I'm a 16-year-old girl who really wants a boyfriend but I am too shy to ask any guys out and a guy will never ask me out on his own. I am on the larger side and all the boys at my school are superficial and wouldn't go out with me because I'm fat. What can I do to make these guys see that there is more to me and that I'm a great person to hang out with and be with?

Rhi, via e-mail.

Harrison says:
Well firstly, you have got to actually be fun to hang out with because you can't just say that you're fun if you're not ... you have got to walk the walk! If you do show these guys what a fun chick you are and they still don't go for it, then there isn't much you can do about them.

However, the world doesn't end at the school gate. Just get a boy from another school and make sure they see you with him. If they see that you're with a guy, they will obviously be more attracted to you (guys naturally want what they can't have). So I suggest the best way to go about it is by making yourself unavailable.
