Chace Crawford

He's been labeled as just another "pretty boy" and a Zac Efron look-a-like, but let's get one thing straight — Chace Crawford ain't no body double. We don't care what it is that put Chace in the spotlight. All that matters is that he's there now and we're guessing that he's here to stay.

The model-turned-actor was basically unknown until he took on the role as Nate in our new fave show Gossip Girl. Chace was raised in Dallas, Texas by his dermatologist father and teacher mother. He has a younger sister, Candice, who is studying broadcast journalism.

Chace graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2003 and worked as a model in his home town. After high school he moved to Malibu, California to attend Pepperdine University. He never thought about acting as a career until his mother encouraged him to pursue it when he was struggling to find a career path. Chace was signed by the first talent agency that interviewed him and immediately started scoring roles.
