Jensen's first time in the spotlight was as a child model, then later as a soap opera award-winner. His first acting break was on the eternal Days of our lives as Eric Brady, for which he won a Best Newcomer award.
In 2000 he landed a role on another TV series, Dark Angel. After that he made a few guest appearances on Dawson's Creek, but soon after went head-to-head with Tom Welling for the role of Clark Kent/Superman in the hit show Superman. Tom scored the Superman role, but Jensen starred alongside him as the coach of the high school football team.
Now you can drool over him in the spooky series Supernatural, where he plays Dean Winchester, a paranormal researcher who travels around the country with his brother Sam (the equally droolworthy Jared Padalecki) investigating ghosts.
