Move over JT, Matthew Morrison from the hit musical TV series
Glee, is about to release a debut solo album, and according to reports, it’s going to be a “classier Justin Timberlake”. Ouch!
Here’s hoping that Timberlake has enjoyed his time in the spotlight, as things are certainly heating up for Matthew.
"Right now, I've almost finalised a record deal and I’m going to be working on an album. It's going to be different. It's going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats."
Morrison plays teacher Will Schuester on Glee and is normally busy helping the kids on the show hit a high note. Relax, he still will be, but off-screen, the musical comedy star will soon be busy making awesome music on his own.
It’s no surprise the Glee stars are on the music world’s radar, after it’s incredible success on the iTunes charts.
Now Morrison can add debut solo to his list of achievements including appearing in Footloose and Hairspray.
"I want to be like the next Gene Kelly. I want to do it all. I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway.”
The guy sounds like a sure fire triple-threat that’s about to hit the big time if you ask us.
P.S The cast of Glee have two CD’s and a one-off cover of 'Last Christmas' by Wham due out this month.
