We think she's got the right idea.
After a dismal end to her last relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles, it’s good to see Taylor's on the road to recovery.
Resembling a mix of two previous disasters (Conor Kennedy fused with Harry Styles- which, let's be honest, sounds extra yummy), it seems as though TSwift has snagged herself a certain John John Florence.
According to Life & Style magazine, “He and Taylor have been text-messaging.”
"Apparently, she contacted him. I don't think they have hung out yet. They've just been chatting."
Need more proof?
A tweet from Surf All Beaches mentioned that things are now exclusive, saying: "John John Florence recently announced that him and Taylor Swift are officially in a relationship. #Swifties #JohnJohn."
Despite all the hype, the 20-year-old pro-surfer cutie is keeping things on the DL. When asked about his relationship with Ms Swift at an Aussie surfing event, Florence shied away from the cameras, saying:
"Uh, I'm not supposed to talk comment about that."
Considering Taylor's long list of lyrical odes to her exes, we think that's probably a smart idea.
"John John doesn't wasn't to ruin things, so he's being careful not to say too much."
