Ellen DeGeneres helps Taylor Swift and Zac Efron clarify relationship statuses

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

In town to promote their new film The Lorax, Taylor Swift and Zac Efron stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show and decided to clear up those relationship rumours once and for all.

Ellen started out by saying, "You are both adorable and adorable together, like a cute couple."

Zac and Taylor responded in unison, "I knew this was going to happen."

Presenting them with multiple t-shirts with relationship statuses printed on the front such as "Lovers," "Just friends," "We Only Hooked Up Once," and "We Broke Up", Ellen explained that the duo can wear them in public to help shoot down any rumours.

Hilarious!

Throughout the interview, Ellen kept jokingly referring to the pair's supposed coupledom with Taylor insisting, "We're not a couple. He's awesome; we are not a couple though."

Taylor also shared what she did on Valentine's Day, which was throw a "pathetic single girls party".

"That was actually what it was called," she said. "I had my single girlfriends over and we had junk food, ate whatever we wanted and danced, and made profile cards about why we are single."

Do you think Zac and Taylor would make a cute couple?

Watch the clip and decide!
