In the saddest news of the day, Delta Goodrem has announced that she and boyfriend Nick Jonas have split.
The news was confirmed today by Delta's Sydney publicist, in a statement which read, "Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.
"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."
Delta, 27, and Nick, 19, first sparked romance rumours after stepping out together in Los Angeles last May, and despite their eight-year age gap, their relationship got pretty serious.
The pair travelled overseas together, collaborated on songs and even met each other's 'rents!
Delta will be based in Australia for the next few months as she settles into her new role as a coach on reality show The Voice, while Nick has a role in the NYC-based musical How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.
