Meet the new Miley Cyrus

Miley may be the main jewel in Disney's crown, but it seems she might have to make room in the spotlight. Demi Lovato is a singing, dancing, acting Disney star in the making.

As well as appearing in the upcoming Jonas Brothers flick Camp Rock, it's been announced that 15-year-old Demi is getting her own show on the Disney channel.

Demi's show, to be called Welcome to Mollywood, will centre on Molly, a girl from a small town who wins a role on a teen comedy TV show after competing in a nationwide search.

Gary Marsh, president of entertainment at Disney Channels Worldwide, says, "This series is rooted in one of the core thematic attributes we stand for, which is following your dream. There also was the opportunity to do a hybrid show."

Demi's triumphs don't end there. She also has a recording contract with Disney's Hollywood records and is set to tour with the Jonas Brothers.

Could we be any more jealous?

Demi Lovato is more talented then miley in so many ways i mean in no way am i a miley hater i mean i love miley but demi has the voice anyone could die for, personally demi can sing way better live, yeah i saw Miley

i like Demi and all but she will never be the new Miley no matter how hard she tries and neither will selena gomez Miley has so much talent and demi just doesnt even come close to matching up with miley

ohmygosh. I have loved Demi for agesss now. I think she is amazing, her voice is so awesome and she has such strong morals. She's a great role model and i think her future is VERY bright. I CANNOT wait for Camp Rock =] Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez All The Way !!
