BRIT AND K-FED DIVORCE
Britney's back! And with a hot comeback make-over too. Britney Spears has announced her plans to divorce K-Fed, filing legal papers last week that cited "irreconcilable differences", Spears asked for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights, reported tmz.com. The reason? Nothing specific, sources say there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events." Photos of Britney in New York show her wearing her wedding band still. But would Britney dump her husband via text message?

REESE AND RYAN SPLIT
Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon filed for divorce this week from husband Ryan Phillippe. Rumours are running wild that Ryan had an affair with young Aussie actress, Abbie Cornish, on the Texas set of their new movie Stop Loss. But the 24 year old up-and-coming star from the Hunter Valley denies the claims. Reese and Ryan met at Reese's 21st birthday nine years ago before working on the film Cruel Intentions together. AGAINST THE LAW
A source close to Sienna and Jude say the couple have split for good. "It's a mutual decision," a pal of the actors says. "They have definitely come to the end of the road. They tried to make it work but it failed," said reports from teenpeople.com. But both Sienna's and Jude's media reps refused to comment on their personal lives. Meeting on the set of Alfie, the movie in which he seduced her onscreen. The pair quickly hooked up off screen and were soon engaged to be married on Christmas Day 2004. That was before evidence of Jude's affair with the nanny, Daisy Wright, hit the headlines the following year. ANOTHER CAR CRASH
Lindsay Lohan has been involved in her third car accident in two years. "She was rear-ended by a paparazzi," says Lindsay's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik. "She's fine." With no major injuries, Linds was able to drive a short distance from the accident, but then phoned a friend to come and pick her up, according to the New York Daily News. Earlier in the evening, Lohan was reportedly spotted outside Los Angeles hot spot Hyde Lounge. Last October Linds suffered minor injuries from a car accident caused by the pap and in May a photographer was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after hitting the actress's car.[PHOTOGRAPHY:GETTY]

Spiderman star Tobey Maguire and his jewellery designer fiancee Jennifer Meyer, like to keep their celebrity life private, but now they're making headlines for all the right reasons. The couple who are engaged to be married welcomed the birth of their first child, a daughter, on Nov. 9 in Los Angeles, reported teenpeople.com. "Let's just say this is truly the best time of my life … I'm walking on air. I'm getting married, starting a family and have an amazing company." Jennifer’s jewellery fans include Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Kidman. The daughter of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer, she and Tobey started dating in early 2003. "They both are similar because they are very guarded around people they don't know," a friend once said of the couple.
