Who is she?
Hailee first started acting when she was just eight years old, after her parents noticed her talent, enrolled her in acting lessons and hired an agent.
While her first gig on-screen was for Kmart, Hailee later acted in various films including Nickelodeon's made-for-TV movie, Summer Camp.
And her latest achievement? Besides presenting alongside Justin Bieber at the Golden Globes (that's an achievement in itself!), Hailee landed the coveted role of Mattie Ross in True Grit, which was released in Australia in early 2011.
Controversy
Reports of a feud between Hailee and Lea Michele (Glee's Rachel Berry) have been circulating the rumour mill recently, after Lea reportedly snubbed Hailee after she asked for an autograph.
Princess Lea, however, has since cleared the rumour up, by making a formal apology to the 14-year-old star. "[I] never meant to hurt her feelings," Lea said. "She's an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day."
And meet, they did. The pair were sat at the same table at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Awkward!
