Emma Roberts fans may be well clued up on this talented actress' background, but for those of you who draw a blank at the mention of her name she's the girl with the killer smile who had the pleasure of playing teen sleuth Nancy Drew. Oh, and she's Julia Roberts' niece!
While hanging out on the sets of her aunt's movies made her fall in love with show business, don't think for a second that Emma's looking to ride on Aunt Julia's coattails.
"We don't even talk about acting," Emma says of the times she hangs out with her aunt.
Emma made her acting debut at the age of nine when she scored the small part of Kristina Jung in the movie Blow — the first movie she ever auditioned for. Emma had the pleasure of working with Johnny Depp, although she's only just realising how cool that was.
"I was so young, I didn't understand that I was working with one of the best actors ever, until later," Emma says.
You may also know Emma from the flick Aquamarine where she starred alongside good pal, singer JoJo. But, Emma is probably more widely known for her role as the lead character in the Nickelodeon television series Unfabulous. Her character on the show sings and plays the guitar, so Nickelodeon had the idea to give Emma a music career as well. She recorded the song 'If I Had My Way' for the Ice Princess soundtrack and followed this up by releasing her own debut album Unfabulous and More: Emma Roberts.
