Samaire Armstrong

For someone with so few major acting roles, Samaire Armstrong has made quite a name for herself in Hollywood. She first caught our eye when she starred in The OC, but it wasn't until she landed the role of Juliette Darling on the hit new show Dirty Sexy Money that we realised her true potential.

Samaire was born in Tokyo to a Scottish father and Italian mother. She lived in Japan for a couple of years before moving to Hawaii and later to Sedona, Arizona, in the US, where she grew up and attended Sedona Red Rock High School. She also attended the University of Arizona, but dropped out because of the drama department's policy of barring first year students from involvement in productions.

Samaire's first break was playing one of the conjoined twins, the Fratelli sisters, in the parody movie Not Another Teen Movie. She also had guest appearances in Judging Amy, Party of Five, CSI Miami, Numbers and The X-Files plus recurring roles on Entourage and The OC. On the big screen, Samaire starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in the flick Just My Luck and has most recently starred in the rom-com flick It's a Boy/Girl Thing.
