Hilary Duff

At just 20 years old, Hilary Duff is already the owner of an empire. She's a singer, actress, has her own clothing range, has put her name to two fragrances, contributes to charity and still has enough time and energy to hold up a love life and make sure she looks flawless on every red carpet. Hilary, you're our hero!

Hilary got her big break playing Wendy in the real life TV movie Casper Meets Wendy in 1998. From there she moved on to the role that really put her on the map — as the star of the hit Disney TV show Lizzie McGuire, in 2001. The show was so popular that it was made into the Lizzie McGuire Movie in 2003.

But the show couldn't go on forever and when Disney announced that it wouldn't be filming any new episodes, Hilary released her first album, Metomorphisis.

Her singing career took off fast, launching four albums to date. But Hilary didn't turn her back on acting. She followed up her successful TV show with movies like Cheaper by the Dozen, A Cinderella Story (opposite Chad Michael Murray), Raise Your Voice, The Perfect Man and Material Girls with her big sister Haylie.

You'd think that with all these projects, Hilary wouldn't be left with much time to focus on a love life. But, she's had a few high profile relationships. Hilary briefly dated Aaron Carter in 2003 stepping out with him at the premiere of The Lizzie McGuire Movie. It's rumoured that Aaron broke up with Hilary to date Lindsay Lohan! But it didn't take long for Hilary to move on — to Good Charlotte front man, Joel Madden who was nine years her senior. The pair dated for almost two-and-a-half years before splitting in 2006. Joel moved on to Nicole Richie while Hilary stayed single for a while. But not for long! Her current relationship is with sexy Canadian hockey player Mike Comrie.
