Lumpy vagina
I have sharp lumps on the top of my vagina and inside. Also, inside is extra skin that feels like little flaps. I have not had sex yet. Is this normal?

Hmmm, this is one of those situations where a picture is worth a thousand words! It's very likely that everything is completely normal and that you are noticing all the various bits of your genital anatomy as they grow and change. I'm not sure where you mean by "the top of the vagina" because technically this is actually right up inside your vagina near your cervix and is not visible from the outside. You might be referring to the top part of your vulva, which is a soft mound of skin and flesh that gets covered in pubic hair. This is what you’d see if you looked straight down from your belly button to where your pubic hair starts. The skin here contains hair follicles which may feel like tiny lumps. Inside the vagina, the skin does not have hair, but it does contain a lot of glands that can be prominent and even look a bit like small pimples. The "little flaps" could either be your inner labia (if you mean just inside the outer labia, or outside flaps), or you could be referring to your hymen, right at the entrance into your vagina. The best thing to do would be to get hold of a good text book with lots of diagrams, or ask a teacher to explain what's normal in your genital area. Once a woman becomes sexually active, the genitals don't change except for the hymen, but some STIs can cause lumps.
