Stretch marks
I'm only 13 and I'm not overweight but I have stretch marks all on my thighs, behind my knees and lower legs. It's disgusting, and whenever I wear skirts or shorts you can fully see the marks. I've used cream but it doesn't seem to help. I'm really depressed about this because I can't wear anything short and be like any other girl my age. Please help me!

Stretch marks are a common part of going through puberty and often, as in your case, have nothing to do with being overweight. They occur because the skin is literally stretched as your body grows and changes shape. The most common places for stretch marks in girls are the thighs, buttocks, breasts and sometimes lower stomach. If you have stretch marks on your lower legs you might want to check with your doctor that this is what they are, as it's an unusual place to get them. Some people are more prone to stretch marks it's usually related to their genetic make-up and skin type. The good news is that stretch marks do fade with time. Various skin creams do not make them go away completely, but you can prevent them from becoming more visible by looking after your skin well and avoiding sunburn. Eating a healthy balanced diet, drinking lots of water and getting regular exercise will all also help to give you healthy skin.
